AI DISCOURSE
TRACKER
I kept noticing the same thing in conversations about AI: everyone falls somewhere on two questions. Will AI deliver what it promises, and how worried should we be? Where a person lands quietly shapes everything else they believe about it. This tracker exists to make that polarisation visible. Each dot is an article from the ongoing AI coverage, scored on those two axes, so you can watch the camps form, harden and move.

Scatter plot of articles positioned by AI outlook (skeptic to believer, horizontal) and societal concern (low to high risk, vertical). Every point here is also listed with its full text in the All Articles list further down this page.

Monthly averages of outlook (green) and concern (blue) scores. Bar height shows article volume. Dashed segments indicate months with fewer than 10 articles.
Bubble chart with one dot per publication with at least five articles, positioned at its average outlook and concern score. Dot size shows how many articles that source has contributed.

One dot per source with 5 or more articles. Position is that source's average outlook and concern across everything it published; size is how much it published.
Camps
Which quadrant the discourse actually falls into: who's in each camp, and what they tend to write about.
